Camapign Updates
Update #4 - February 14, 2008
Friends and Compatriots:
Happy Valentines Day! Here's another update on our progress:
- Petitions filed
We filed our petitions with the state on deadline, and we should get official word that we'll be on the ballot next week. (If you want to read a funny little story about the trip to Harrisburg, check out my most recent blog posting.
- Volunteer meetings to start soon
We'll begin holding regular volunteer meetings shortly. Details are still being worked out. Because of the geographic complexity of the district, which extends from north of Ebensburg down to Central City, we will likely have rotating meetings and sometimes hold the same meeting twice, in two different locations at two different times, to better accomodate your schedule.
- Advertising
While the primary election isn't until April 22nd, you'll continue to see sporadic ads for the campaign in the newspapers throughout the district, in Johnstown Magazine, and on the Web. We're building brand awareness and laying a foundation for a strong campaign.
