Update #2 - January 21, 2008
Friends and Compatriots!
Here's our second Campaign Update, just to keep you apprised of what's going on in relation to the campaign.
PETITION PROCESS BEGINS TUESDAY:
This Tuesday, January 22nd, is the first day we can begin collecting signatures.
We need to collect 300 "qualified" signatures by February 12th. Qualified means a resident of the the 72nd district and a registered Republican.
Actually, we'd like to collect much more than 300, just to be safe, and we'd like to submit these to the Secretary of State by Febuary 1st, well in advance of the February 12th deadline.

- MARCH FOR LIFE:
While the petition process begins on Tuesday, I'll be in D.C. at the March for Life rally. This will be a day-trip, a bus load of GOPers marching for a vital cause. But as soon as I get back, the petition process will move ahead full speed.
- MORE MEDIA COVERAGE:
John Micek, The (Allentown) Morning Call's Harrisburg reporter is interested in our cause. He's working on a piece about the campaign, and we'll provide a link to it when it publishes.
- CAMPAIGN TEAM COMING TOGETHER:
Our campaign team is coming together nicely. Donna Cauffiel has agreed to be our volunteer coordinator for the southern end of the district and Tom Brown has agreed to handle logistical aspects of the campaign.
