Update #12 - July 1, 2008 - "Independence Day, and Four Months to Go!"

Another update from the campaign trail...
- Have a Happy 4th!
Enjoy your Fourth of July this Friday! It's about more than furniture sales and cook-outs. The Great Declaration signified a new day in the world, and we should never forget it. So have a safe and happy Independence Day!
- Four Months to Go!
Not only is this July 4th the date we celebrate our independence from the Crown, it's also the date that marks four months to go until election day. (It seems like it was five months just yesterday, which means the election will be here in a matter of days, at least based on my internal clock!)
- Yard sign locations sought
While many of you have offered locations for yard signs, we need more. Remember, these locations don't have to be within the borders of the 72nd district. They need to be high-traffic spots where people who live in the 72nd may travel. (For instance, Eisenhower Blvd in Richland is not in the district, but lots of people from the district travel along that road.)
If you know of someone who lives in a good location, please ask them if they would help the campaign by agreeing to have a sign placed in their yard. Just let me know and I'll make sure we get them a sign in the fall.
Better yet, if you'd like to help us manage our yard sign logistics, we're in the process of developing a team, headed by Tom Brown, to accordinate this. Call me at 254-4910 if you would like to be part of this process.
