Update #9 - May 5, 2008
Friends and Compatriots!
Another update from the campaign trail:
- Details for our next fundraiser are coming together
It will be held Wednesday, June 18th, at 6:00 p.m. at The Ridge in Upper Yoder Township. (To get to The Ridge, take Menoher Blvd (271) south from Johnstown/Westmont, towards Ligonier. After you pass Picken Chicken [about 8 miles from downtown Johnstown] watch for The Ridge sign on your right.)
Rep. Mike Turzai, chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee is slated to attend. (Mike has a vote in Harrisburg that day, but will try to get here on time.) We're working on bringing another special guest as well.

- Volunteers needed
As we build our organization, we'll need volunteers for some important projects. If you would like to help, or if you know people who could help, please contact me at chris@chrisvoccio.com.
YARD SIGN management: We need volunteers who can help install our yard signs across the district. Ideally we would have six or so people who would be willing to get our signs placed, track where those signs were installed, and then help tear them down the day after the election. This would entail some planning, a couple of days of hard work in installing the signs, and one busy day on November 5th taking down the signs.
POLL WORKERS: We need volunteers to help work the polls on election day, basically standing in front of the polling places (there are 56 of them) and asking people to vote for the right candidate. And because we can't expect one person to stand in front of a polling place the entire day, we'll need a lot of volunteers for this.
