Making it official 2/11/2008
Tomorrow I’ll be making the trek to Harrisburg to file my nomination papers with the secretary of state’s office, making my candidacy official.
Until you “file your papers”, you’re not really a candidate. Filing involves getting 300+ signatures from registered voters of the same party, paying the $100 filing fee, and filling out some bureaucratic paperwork.
After Tuesday, the real campaign begins. Everything up until then is just prep-work. Now that our campaign is about to get in gear, I urge everyone interested in joining the cause to contact me at chris@chrisvoccio.com as we build our organization.
